Styling for Super Bowl

I like any reason to dress up for a get together…so I was pretty excited we were going somewhere to watch the super bowl. Since I could care less who wins, I didn’t have to worry about dressing to theme. So, I went with lots of layers and print mixing.

Some of my favorite prints to mix are florals and stripes. As long as you stay in the same color family you can mix away!

Another trend I love is the layered look. I paired some grey ruffled boot socks with pale pink tights and threw on a camo cardigan so I had a little boy meets girl look going on too. I like making super girly pieces a little more edgy by adding some more masculine looks to it. In fact, mommy and I found this camo cardi in the boys section at Baby Gap.

Obviously, my favorite part of the game was the half time show. Katy Perry put on a good show that I could dance to 🙂

What’s even better than the Super Bowl? The puppy bowl!! I feel like this is a highly underrated game…

Walking in a winter wonderland: Gap deer print dress

Another snow, another perfect winter outfit. Faux fur is my winter go-to accessory. It adds instant glamour…and it feels great too! I see mommy wear faux fur scarves all the time so when I saw this one at Janie and Jack in my size, I had to have it! It pairs well with a lot of outfits especially this adorable Gap Deer Print Dress. A good critter print is always a must, but especially if it’s a woodland critter since they are on trend for winter.
